Divinestead is an incremental idler strategy game where you build a settlement, harvest resources and Favor so the gods bless you with Boons to improve your progress.

While your settlement gathers resources every in-game day (24 seconds), you can focus on either relaxing or chasing various activities around, such as managing your Gatherers, fighting enemies, gathering some extra resources yourself via clicking, and improving your buildings.

This is an early prototype so progression, balance and overall economy may not be fine tuned nor final.

There are many things to discover in Divinestead, one being the Objectives: these spawn every few days upon either completing specific buildings or unlocking specific Boons, and can be extracted by your Gatherers for extra resources and Favor, a premium resource.

There are also permanent items that provide various bonuses, the Relics: you can find them by assigning Gatherers to areas such as Abandoned Villages.

Controls and version

The game is fully playable with the mouse alone. Keyboard shortcuts are there if you want them: WASD/Arrow to move the camera around, + and - to zoom in and out. ESC to access the settings panel.

This is an early prototype so expect bugs and not perfectly balanced tuning!

It's aight. Looks like you've got some hitbox collisions on the right hand side of the screen with the options menu, so if a text box button is vertically in line with those options then you can't click it. Also, an easy fix for people not realising that that you can upgrade certain buildings is to display all upgradable buildings with their level ie. "Cottage" becomes "Cottage [1]".

Enjoyable, finished it completely.
I also didn't notice the keep could be upgraded until after finishing the game...wish I knew because food upkeep was a nightmare lol

more on idle side of progression, so not entirely my thing, but still enjoyable

Did game tell me keep can be upgraded at some point? Balance wise: 1 barracks is enough, strength spoils OP; wealth 5/6 cost seems off (might've been intentional idk)

My bad on the wealth 5 and 6, was a typo on my end, I've fixed their cost. I've also simplified the keep upgrades and added a bit more stuff to better utilize the strength in the new patch
