Goblins Can Conquer! - v0.2 update


With this new version I've added both new features and polished some part of the game:

  • I've added a new goblin building, the Barracks: a strong building that adds a goblin recruit to your horde every 3 turns;


  • Reworked the basic building, the Goblin Hut, to give a goblin commoner every 5 turns instead of the 1% EXP bonus;
  • Reworked the UI for the building system;


  • Added a "Danger" mechanic to enhance the game loop: after the first 20 turns, and then every 10 turns, the remaining unconquered lands scale up in difficulty (from +1, common, to +5, very rare), in order to keep the overall game difficulty and rewards in check;
  • Many smaller UI tweaks such as the floating combat text;
  • Various balance adjustments;

    Next I'll be working on adding more perks/skill points, adding a simple treasure system to the harder areas (Safehouse and Hideout areas will be more rewarding) and honing the scaling/balance even more.
